How to play «Two Truths, a Lie»

Two Truths, a Lie — a classic party and icebreaker game: each player says three statements about themselves (two true, one false), and the others vote which is the lie. Points for catching the lie and for a good bluff.

  1. One player at a time is the "author". They state three things about themselves: two true, one false.
  2. Everyone else secretly votes which of the three is the lie.
  3. Each voter who finds the lie scores a point. The author scores a point for everyone they fooled.
  4. Rotate the author for a new round. The best "lie detector" (and bluffer) wins.
